Game Collection Roundtable 03/01/2016: Pokémon Red, Blue, Yellow, Far Cry Primal (PS4), Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition (3DS)

Every week, the Diehard GameFAN team adds new games to their collections. Sometimes they are new releases, physical or digital, DLC or full games, but they are all building blocks in our greater collections.

Video Game:

Pokémon Red (3DS)
Pokémon Blue (3DS)
Pokémon Yellow (3DS)
Project X Zone 2 Add-On Content (3DS)

Of course I got these. I fought long and hard for these fuckers to be released on the 3DS back when I was working for TPC. Thank Christ they are finally out.

Tabletop: Deathwatch: Overkill (Warhammer 40,000)

Review copy board game.

Far Cry Primal (PS4) – It’s Far Cry. It has a lot fewer features than we might be used to, but I have a pet wolf and will eventually have a pet sabre-tooth tiger. That’s not nothing. I intend to go through this quickly and get a review up for the site before long.

Disney Infinity 1.0 Villains Pack – I’ve been wanting these for awhile, as the likes of Syndrome and Randall are fairly expensive on their own. After months of price watching, I finally found one that didn’t break the bank. Now I can really get started on finishing up my 1.0 collection.

Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition (3DS)

Despite pre-ordering back in November, my Fire Emblem Special Edition still didn’t arrive on time. Considering many who wanted this set didn’t end up getting it at all, I wasn’t too worried about it, though my heart sank when I saw the e-mail from Best Buy stating that I wouldn’t receive it until 3/14. They later corrected themselves and shipped it the very next day, supplying me with a gift card for toying with my emotions. It’s finally in my possession and I couldn’t be happier.

Wasteland 2: Directors Cut (PS4) – Twice I have started it, twice I looked at the stats screen, and twice I shut it off because I was too tired for that noise.

I did good, I didn’t get anything, got to save up for Bravely Second after all.

I lied, I was bad, I bought Japanese One Punch Man fanmanga and Fire Emblem Fates DLC.
