Game Collection Roundtable 10/25/2015: The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes (3DS), Tale from the Borderlands Episode 5 (PS3), Dragon Quest Heroes CE (PS4)

Every week, the Diehard GameFAN team adds new games to their collections. Sometimes they are new releases, physical or digital, DLC or full games, but they are all building blocks in our greater collections.

Lucard

Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide (PC) – fun little co-op FP shooter/slasher.

Tales From the Borderland Episode 5 (PS3) – weakest of the episodes so far, but that was mainly due to the schmaltz, crazy amounts of freezing/slowdown and lack of a true ending. Still a really fun game though.

Yo-Kai Watch Demo (3DS)
Fairune Demo (3DS)
Fatal Frame 5 Demo (Wii U)

Humble Weekly Bundle – Valentine’s Day 2

I had a bunch of the games in the bundle wish listed already, so I figured it’d be a big enough bang for the buck (and more efficient than getting them separately) to spring for it. It was right up my alley given how much of an otome/visual novel fiend I am. I was particularly interested in Loren and Royal Trap, so that’s a couple more things off my wishlist.

Tale from the Borderlands Episode 5 (PS3) – Another fun episode that did everything I could have hoped for in a finale. Let’s hope this gets another season, while Game of Thrones does not!

Life is Strange Episode 5 (PS4) – Both of these finales coming out on the same day was torture. I loved this finale, although it’s easily the most flawed episode in the season. It kind of rode the abstract train into the sunset, but it left me with tears in my eyes. What a truly remarkable season it’s been.

Yep, EVEN MORE Persona 4 Dancing All Night DLC! (Vita) – So the Miku DLC came out, as well as a new set of animation tracks. I picked them all up, as well as the free ski costumes and featherman masks. Miku’s song is pretty darn tricky until you get what it’s trying to do, but it’s definitely not the hardest song. The Fog still takes the cake there. Miku looks odd though, and I’m still not a fan of her singing in English. Still, it’s a blast to play and not a bad song at all. The animation stuff is like the others. They’re great warm up tracks because of their short length, and I definitely wouldn’t mind paying money for full versions.

Dragon Quest Heroes CE (PS4)
Tales of Zestiria CE (PS4)
The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes (3DS)
LBX: Little Battlers eXperience (3DS)

The month of October is when the majority of my pre-orders get cashed in, with the PS4 and 3DS being the most top heavy in terms of new titles. It’s just as well, since the rest of the year doesn’t have too much of interest, save for Yakuza 5 which still doesn’t have a solid release date.

NOTHING BECAUSE NOTHING CAME OUT THIS FALL LIKE IT WAS SUPPOSE TO.

Er, I got Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden for the 3DS and Corpse Party: Blood Drive – Everafter Edition for the Vita also came in even though it was out last week but I didn’t get it until DBZ came in. I think the worst is over with the preorders but I may just be in denial.

The Legend of Zelda: Triforce Heroes (3DS)

Even though the multiplayer focus is a turn off, a new Zelda game is a new Zelda game so I went for it on Day 1. So far seems like a mistake. Yuck.
