Nintendo Reveals 10 NES Games For 3DS Ambassador Program (in Japan)

Nintendo is rewarding 3DS early adopters with the 3DS Ambassador Program, which gives twenty free games for download – ten NES classics and ten Gameboy Advance classics.

When Nintendo first announced the 3DS price drop, they revealed five of the NES classics that Ambassadors would be able to grab for free. Now the rest of that list has been revealed – at least in Japan.

Newly announced NES games:

  • Metroid
  • Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link
  • Yoshi’s Egg
  • Mario Open Golf
  • Wrecking Crew

Previously announced:

  • Super Mario Bros.
  • Balloon Fight
  • The Legend of Zelda
  • Donkey Kong Jr.
  • Ice Climber

No word on whether this list will remain the same for US and Europe, and what the GBA games will end up being as well. The Ambassador program kicks off Thursday September 1st, 2011 and Nintendo will continue to mix up the 3DS as we move into 2012.
