Capcom has announced the first sequel to Street Fighter 4, appropriately called Super Street Fighter 4.
The game will feature “about eight characters new to the world of Street Fighter IV. The impressive new roster includes classic combatants from previous Street Fighter games like T. Hawk as well as all-new characters such as the mysterious and deadly female fighter, Juri.” No word on the other 6 or so characters yet, but I’m sure Capcom will release the information soon. Announced gameplay features include “Ultra Combos” and the ultra vague “advancements to the state of the art online matchmaking and online gameplay “.
Super Street Fighter 4 is slated for a Spring 2010 release on Xbox 360 and PS3.
