Nintendo has finally come clean on a proper release date for its Wii MotionPlus, announced last year, along with an exact date on the company’s Wii Sports follow-up, Wii Sports Resort.
Wii fans can mark their calendars for June 8 to pick up the Wii MotionPlus accessory on its own and July 26 to make plans for Wii Sports Resort, which comes packed with one MotionPlus accessory.
The MotionPlus adds to the motion-sensing capabilities of the Wii Remote and is being advertised to provide greater detail and accuracy with its controls as well as recognizing even the slightly of movement in the player’s wrists. The accessory will attach directly to the Wii Remote and comes with the suggested retail price of $19.99.
Wii Sports Resort takes Nintendo’s sports franchise on vacation, allowing players to ride on water scooters, duel with swords, throw Frisbees and more. Both the game and accessory will be bundled together when the game releases, at the suggested retail price of $49.99.
