Deadline July 8th? I can’t believe I missed it. Is it possible to register after the deadline? Virtual reality is such an exciting technology. It definitely has a long way to go. Stats predict that it will grow really fast – check out this diagram – it is amazing. The number of VR users is expected to grow more than threefold over the next two years. Oculus Rift is already available to a wide audience. And those, who cannot afford it, can make fun with cardboards – there are plenty of them for a comparatively low price.
The main problem right now is that it is lacking software. There are only a couple of apps available on the market. Developer’s interest is just starting to be fueled. It is high time now to enter the industry because competition is still very low. To say the truth, I am thinking of launching VR development in my company as well.
Some say that VR is the next level of our isolation in the world of dreams, but I believe that it is a path towards a brighter future.
I wish I could attend the conference to check out the latest VR apps.
