You can now play the Pokémon TCG Online on Android tablets.
Android tablet owners can now take the fun of the Pokémon TCG Online wherever their Internet will take them (Internet connection required to play). The Android tablet version of the popular app is now available as an open beta test. The full public launch will follow later this year. You can now compete against your friends and other players across the world, build decks from your card collection, play in online tournaments, and much more!
To play in the Android open beta, your Android tablet will need to be running Android OS 4.0 or later. This is an excellent opportunity for our fans to help the game be the best that it can be. You must be at least 13 years old to download the Android app, so if you are under 13, please obtain permission and help from a parent or guardian.
The Pokémon Trainer Club account you use on Pokemon.com and in the current versions of the Pokémon TCG Online is all you need to sign in to the Android open beta version. Players will be able to compete against each other regardless of the platform; for example, PC players can play against iPad players, Android players can compete against Mac players, and so on.
We invite players to join the conversation in a special group at the official Pokémon TCG Online forums to discuss their experience. You’ll need to sign in with your Pokémon Trainer Club account to read and contribute to the forums. If you are a native French, Italian, German, Spanish, or Portuguese speaker, feel free to report issues in your native language.
