While a localization was announced for Drakengard 3 some time ago, it wasn’t yet clear just when the game would be releasing. Well, not only did Square Enix finally set a firm release date, but it would seem they have put together a fancy collector’s edition to boot.
The collector’s edition will cost $79.99 and will be available exclusively through the Square Enix store. It includes premium packaging, a novella, a poster, soundtrack, and three sets of DLC (including… a giant baby hat?) The regular edition is also exclusive to SE’s store, and will MSRP for $49.99. Which means if you don’t want to contend with Digital River and their high priced shipping, you’ll have to download the PSN version. Check out the English trailer below:
