Metal Gear fans certainly have a lot to be happy about at E3 this year. Konami announced three new MG games, across varying platforms:
- Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence. A remake of MGS3, but with added features, online play, and most importantly, the original MSX versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, which have never been released in the US before. It’s worth the price for those two gems alone.
- Metal Gear Ac!d2. The card-battling sleeper hit for the PSP gets a sequel, this time with cel-shaded graphics. Believe it or not, the graphics actually don’t look that bad; if anything else, they seem even brighter and crisper this time around. Oh, and Ocelot shows up.
- Metal Gear Solid 4. This will launch alongside the PS3. Need I say more?
