For once it seems that European gamers are going to be getting something before us here in the States. Of course the Japanese will still get it first, but that’s pretty much a given. Earlier this week Nintendo announced that the new Zelda GBA title, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap will be out in European stores everywhere on November 12th of this year, which is only eight days behind the Japanese release which is slated for November 4th. Meanwhile gamers in the US will not be able to partake in the new Zelda goodness until January 10th, 2005. Apparently, most people are saying this is simply nothing more then a holiday marketing ploy to make sure the focus will stay on Nintendo’s DS system. My take on it is simple: I love handheld Zelda games. So I am only left with one option: I’ll be importing my copy as soon as I possibly can. Those of you who have patience will just have to wait till the new year to get your Link fixes.
