Game Collection Roundtable 09/13/2015: Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX (3DS), Super Mario Maker (Wii U)

Every week, the Diehard GameFAN team adds new games to their collections. Sometimes they are new releases, physical or digital, DLC or full games, but they are all building blocks in our greater collections.

Hatsune Miku Project Mirai DX (3DS) – The firs Miku game to come stateside that isn’t for a Sony platform. It’s decidedly built for a younger audience. The game is far more forgiving, there appears to be no fourth difficulty setting, and the characters are all done up in the chibi style. Still, I’m enjoying it well enough. Being able to switch between touch controls and standard controls for different play styles is pretty sweet.

Jeanne D’Arc (Vita) – This is one of my favorite PSP games. Normally if I wanted to play it again, I’d do so on that. However, my PSP has seen better days and simply can’t be used if it isn’t plugged in. Since this was only a few bucks on sale this week, I pretty much had to grab it.

Armello (PS4) – This was the game I voted to win that ps plus thing last month. Sadly, everyone else wanted Grow Home. Having played both, everyone else was an idiot. This game is a great board game that takes advantage of its virtual presence to do things that regular board games can’t do. Like has been said, it’s like Redwall meets Game of Thrones. It’s awesome.
