Game Collection Roundtable 07/05/2015: Persona 4: Dancing All Night (Vita), Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 (Vita), BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma EXTEND (PS4)

Every week, the Diehard GameFAN team adds new games to their collections. Sometimes they are new releases, physical or digital, DLC or full games, but they are all building blocks in our greater collections.

I picked up White Dwarf #75 for the free Stormcast Eternal figure. Good mag and a really easy figure to put together. Well worth picking up if you have ever been curious about the hobby.

Persona 4: Dancing All Night (Vita)
Lost Dimension (Vita/PS3)
Her Story (PC)

A small list, and I’m playing catch up a bit, but overall it’s been a good haul after weeks of buying either cheap Steam games or… nothing, really. Persona 4: Dancing All Night has its issues, especially with how Japan is handling the DLC content, but for the most part it’s a fine enough game, and the US version is one I can generally recommend if you like Persona 4 or rhythm games. By the time this goes live, my review for Her Story and preview for Lost Dimension should also be live, so you can see how I felt about those, but overall, they’re both quite good, and hopefully in the coming weeks more high quality stuff will be coming around.

Harmoknight (3DS)
Grill-Off with Ultra Hand! (Wii)

Both of those came from last minute redeeming of my remaining Club Nintendo coins (RIP Club Nintendo). I’d heard good things about Harmoknight, and it was made by Game Freak, so it seemed as good an investment as any. Grill-Off was just a way to spend the last of my coins – Wii’s not hooked up right now, so who knows if/when I’d get to it with my backlog.

Monster Monpiece (Vita) – Sean said this was a good card game. I think he just wanted to trick us all into buying a game with so many half-naked monster girls. Oh well. It was only four bucks, so if I only ever played it for those first couple of hours, I won’t feel too bad. It’s a passable game, really. It’s just too simple for my tastes (although it pretends to be complicated), and way too sleazy.

Dark Pit Amiibo
Palutena Amiibo
Zero Suit Samus Amiibo
Ganondorf Amiibo
J-Stars Victory VS+ (PS4)
Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 (Vita)
New Adventure Island (PSN)
Bonk’s Adventure (PSN)
Dungeon Explorer (PSN)

Rather than take chances trying to get US amiibos, I pre-ordered a bunch from the UK, which will undoubtedly save me from some future stress. I also received the latest HDN game for review (go check out the review!) and J-Stars Victory VS+ because I have an anime itch that needs scratching. I didn’t see much of interest on the flash sale, though I did pick up the TG16 ports they had on sale there.
