Game Collection Roundtable 04/04/2015: Malifaux, Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure, Toukiden: Kiwami (PS4)

Every week, the Diehard GameFAN team adds new games to their collections. Sometimes they are new releases, physical or digital, DLC or full games, but they are all building blocks in our greater collections.

Lucard

Video Games:

  • Batman Arkham Origins Season pass (PS3)

all the extra content for five bucks. Not bad.

Tabletop:

Malifaux

  • War Wabbits (3).
  • Nicodem, Avatar of Decay

I don’t play Malifaux, but sometimes they have models too good to pass up that I just want to paint. Case in point the limited edition on available from April 1st to the 4th War Wabbit. It is awesome and hilarious looking and I got three – one for each of my three late rabbits to paint up as them. Plus, Gremlins are riding the. That’s pretty awesome.
Another great looking out of print model I can use with my Warhammer armies. Miniature Market had its March Madness sale and I got it for a steal of $22. It’s up to $33, which is still much less than it usually goes for byt I can’t wait to paint this awesome piece.

Batman Miniature Game

  • Rorsarch (x2)
  • NIte Owl
  • Silk Spectre
  • The Comedian
  • Ozymandius

These six were all part of the March Madness sale as well. So I grabbed the full Watchmen team and an extra Rorsarch to paint up as The Question.

Mark B.

  • Toukiden: Kiwami (PS4)

Aileen

  • Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2 (PC)
  • Wings of Vi (PC)
  • Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure (PC)

This was a belated gift from Mohamed (thanks dude!). I’ll have the remember to download the content restoration patch whenever I get to playing it. Wings of Vi was a piece from the weekly Humble Bundle Chris gave me. I got Gurumin free for voting for it on Greenlight, which is extra nice because I never got the PSP version (I know, shame shame).

Madson

  • Damascus Gear: Operation Tokyo (Vita)
  • Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure (Steam)

Damascus Gear: Operation Tokyo is an Arc System Works title available digitally on the Vita that was received for review. Gurumin, on the other hand, was a free key received for voting for the game on Steam Greenlight (even though I already own the PSP version).

Matt Yaeger

  • Terraria
  • Gears of War: Judgement

I grabbed the games that were the 360 Games With Gold for this part of the month.

Widro

  • Axiom Verge (PS4)
  • Yoshi’s Island DS (Wii U)
  • Super Mario 64 (Wii U)

I’m a sucker for retro style Metroidvania titles so I had to pick up Axiom Verge, although I haven’t gotten far yet. The two new VC titles were also insta-buys for me and then I was able to sell my DS cart at a tidy profit
