Yes, you read that correctly. It is 2014, and XSEED Games continues to keep the PlayStation Portable alive by bringing more niche titles out west. This time, it’s a Falcom action RPG remake titled Brandish: The Dark Revenant. While it does have 3D visuals, the action is viewed from an overhead perspective, not unlike Falcom’s own Ys series, though the dungeon design seems a bit more ruthless by comparison. I haven’t yet played a Brandish game myself, so I look forward to getting my feet wet this year. Here’s the trailer:
