It was already a surprise that Bandai Namco would be bringing a Sword Art Online game to the west, but the fact that it now has an English trailer makes it more real than ever. Sword Art Online: Hallow Fragment is based upon an anime/manga series that takes a page out of the book of .hack (which is also published by Bandai Namco, coincidentally) by introducing a virtual reality MMORPG where its players become trapped within. Hallow Fragment is actually the second video game based on the series, preceded by the PSP title Infinity Moment, though it was revealed that the content from that game will also be included in this release. Sword Art Online: Hallow Fragment releases digitally this summer on the Sony PlayStation Vita.
