The original Theatrhythm Final Fantasy game was a cute rhythm title that put the music of the main series into the spotlight and tasked you with tapping along on the touchscreen in order to defeat foes and level up. Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call expands on this idea by including not just new modes, but additional songs. Soundtracks featured this time around will include more recent entries, such as Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and the unrelease-in-the-west Final Fantasy Type-0. The trailer is in Japanese, but many of the tunes should still be recognizable:
Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call releases in Japan on April 24, 2014 for the Nintendo 3DS. There is currently no North American release date set.
