Sega fans continue to have reasons for joy on Xbox Live as another classic (and rare!) Saturn game is headed to Microsoft’s download service.
The classic vertical shooter by Treasure has been in high demand since it’s Japan-only release over a decade ago on Sega Saturn. Copies have gone for over $200 on ebay. Now fans will finally have the ability to play the game, in English and in HD!

The classic (and expensive) Radiant Silvergun Saturn packaging
Radiant Silvergun will be released on September 14, 2011 on Xbox Live for only 1200 points ($15).
Game modes include:
- online 2-player co-op
- Saturn game variant
- Arcade game variant
- multiple game modes
- optional “Ikaruga” style scoring
Now I’m glad I put my own copy on ebay a couple years back :)
