I was a huge fan of Red Faction for the PS2. The geo-mod (a fancy name for blowing holes in everything) was nothing short of revolutionary. I still remember using the rocket launcher to carve out stairs to the 2nd floor of wherever it was I was going. By the second game, there was even more “terrain deforming” taking place; for example, giving you alternatives to regular battles by simply blowing up the bridge the enemies were.

Red Faction: Guerilla, continues this legacy by promising that more shit will be blown up than ever before. Huge, realistic collapses of buildings should bring a whole new area of strategy and physics to the franchise.
