Thanks for your very informative and thorough review. It’s about time someone gave the game the fair shake it deserves. I’ve loved the game from day 1 & agree totally with your observation of the “gamer’s mindset”. I’ve been very disappointed by the amount of people not willing to even try the game for themselves but yet feel the need to be critical.
Thanks for taking the time to write the review. I hope this encourages more people to at least try it.

Hi RH! Thanks for writing. I really loved Castle mode. It was a lot of fun.

You’re right about Aeon’s time freeze + super finisher being an amazing combo. And it’s totally cool you disagree with me on characters. For me, I tend to find faster characters a lot easier to master than slow powerhouses like Dracula. I’ve gotten to the point where with Shanoa or Trevor, I can beat any computer controlled opponent (Save the Time Reaper) in about eight seconds.

I agree with the review. Sure it doesn’t have a great story, but it does get addictive. I would have to say that if you hate story mode try castle mode, it does get challenging. The only part I don’t agree with is your ranking of the characters. I found eric as an ok character and I was able to beat story mode quickly with Dracula (I beat the final boss in true story mode easily with him). Also I think Aeon (the time control dude) to be a good character (if you know how to combine his moves together for easy victoy, hint: when you use that gold glow to freeze time use the the super finisher right after it so people can’t dodge it) I use him all the time now. I give your review a 10/10 because it is accurate and you actually played it before reviewing it (unlike others).

After having played this game, finally, I want to break the disc in half and slit my wrists open with the pieces.

It’s Soul Calibur Legends with Castlevania characters. Woof.

I can’t agree with the high score for the graphics. The character models are pretty bland. Just by looking at them I get a headache.
