There is very little doubt that the Silent Hill series has become quite possibly the scariest video game franchise ever. The first two editions featured excellent sound and creepy environments to keep you on the edge of your seat. The third edition hopes to keep you on that edge with a brand new story and lead character in hopes to bring some new chills to your spine.

Fans in the United Kingdom will be enjoying the game before North America, as Konami has announced a May release date in Europe. The game is on target currently for an August release in North America.
